Paige One Promotions is owned and operated by me, Melissa Schneider. I am native of Scottsbluff, Neb., and recently moved back to Scottsbluff with my husband, Chad, and daughter, Paige (hence Paige One Promotions).

My experience with communications has ranged from writing and editing to web site design. I have worked in government and health care fields, but my favorite realm is agriculture. I grew up north of Scottsbluff, where the family business - Larsen Feeding Corporation - focused on all aspects of the cattle business.

I have a bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I have worked in communications since I graduated in 1995. My first job was handling communications for a hospital in Laconia, New Hampshire. Next, I worked in Albany, N.Y. as a writer/editor for a company that handled grants sponsored by several government agencies.

My next job was in Colorado Springs, Colo. where I was Director of Communications for the National Livestock Producers Association (NLPA). NLPA has been one of my best clients since I started Paige One Promotions in September 2003.

My goal for Paige One Promotions is to help local businesses and ag-based businesses to better promote their operations through more professional publications and web presence.
